Fur & Away School of Pet Stylists is comprised of an open plan practical grooming classroom, seminar area, and a wash and dry grooming facility.
Fur & Away School of Pet Stylists also provides lockers for each student and a student lounge area.
At our School we are proud of the recognition we receive from the Singaporean and Malaysian Industry as well as the links we have established with like minded organizations in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, Europe and USA. Company founder, Alex Ang ICMG has travelled the globe learning, developing and refining his training skills from many experienced peers and International schools throughout the world. All instructors and lecturers at Fur & Away are certified in their area of expertise and have a passion for their craft and a genuine love for the animals and their care.

The courses offered by the Fur & Away School of Pet Stylists includes a combination of study based subjects and practical hands-on grooming skills. We will teach you all the skills required to start a career or a business, focussed on grooming and styling dogs, at a professional level.
There is no substitute for experience gained over time, but at Fur & Away we are able to assure our students of an on going advisory service should they come across anything unexpected. We are always willing to offer refresher courses when needed, or to further enhance your grooming skills and qualifications.
Fur & Away students have access to participate in external examinations and attain an overseas certificate. This ensures that our students have the unique opportunity to travel abroad to meet other groomers, exchange ideas and partake in grooming competitions throughout Asia, USA and Europe. International Certification provides a professional pet stylist with greater potential to secure future employment. International Certification provides clients with the confidence that they are dealing with a skillful, Industry Certified stylist. At Fur & Away we recognize the value of International Certification and exposure to overseas grooming trends.
Our Principal Instructor and Master Groomer, Alex Ang, has over the past twenty years gone from being a student to becoming an Internationally Certified Master Groomer, to owning three flourishing grooming salons and two successful grooming schools. He continues to travel the globe, to not only refine his own skills but to stay current with new trends and ideas in Asia and the US.
It is this level of commitment, passion and pride that students at Fur & Away will be exposed to. Our students are taught a life skill that with enthusiasm, determination and dedication will allow them to reach their personal goals and future ambitions.
